Entire industries are impacted by this devastating virus known as COVID-19. Unemployment rates are hitting numbers not seen since the great depression in this country. Jobs are lost, large and small businesses have closed permanently, etc. etc. etc.

Litterally everyone, and everything, has been negatively impacted to some degree by this PANDEMIC.

YET … TRADES UNITED CONTINUES TO GROW AND THRIVE IN THIS INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TIME!!!

Building and maintaining our infrastructure is paramount at a time like this.

As schools reopen … they must do so in a manner that is safe for our children. Roads need to be maintained for those traveling back to work. Our parks need fostering and nurturing to create healthy air to breathe. Buildings need to be safe and accessible for those returning to work. Older structures must be modified to accommodate our handicapped population … and the list goes on and on and on.

In short … WE MUST CONTINUE LIVING … BUT SAFE!

A sincere thank you to all the CONSTRUCTION WORKERS who make this all possible.

Their IMPACT has always been GREAT …

Their IMPACT during this GLOBAL PANDEMIC has been SPECTACULAR!

Be safe everyone … BECAUSE ALL LIVES MATTER!!!

A sincere thank you to Steve Varela (Director of Procurement) and Juan Castro (Head of Operations) for their unwavering commitment to Trades United!

Public Works Program Shatters $1 Million Dollar Mark https://tradesunited.com/public-works-program-shatters-1-million-dollar-mark/ Thu, 12 Sep 2019 20:25:47 +0000 https://tradesunited.com/?p=4024 It took less than three full months for TRADES UNITED to surpass the $1 MILLION DOLLAR mark in secured “government” construction projects for our MEMBERS.

That is how powerful and unique our “PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAM” is right out of the gate.

TRADES UNITED has created access into the world of PUBLIC WORKS construction projects. These projects represent the HIGHEST EARNINGS in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.

A sincere congratulations goes out to MEMBER MR. CIARI and 101 ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION. Since coming into the PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAM, Mr. Ciari and 101 ROOFING have secured over $1 MILLION DOLLARS of PUBLIC WORKS ROOFING PROJECTS. They are on pace to double that figure by the end of 2019.

A similar shout out goes to Steve Varela and Danny Gastelum of TRADES UNITED. Steve and Danny head up our PROCUREMENT DEPARTMENT and are responsible for cultivating relationships with local municipalities. These relationships result in more PUBLIC WORKS OPPORTUNITIES for our MEMBERS which allow them to make more money in the industry than ever before.

Together, Steve and Danny have secured PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS with the following muncipalities:

COUNTY OF VENTURA;

CITY OF OXNARD;

CHANNEL ISLANDS HARBOR COMMISSION;

CITY OF SANTA PAULA;

CITY OF MOORPARK;

OCEAN VIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT;

DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES;

CALIFORNIA STATE RECREATION AND PARKS DEPARTMENT

That list is growing day by day …

TRADES UNITED set out to CHANGE THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY and CREATE A NEW INDUSTRY STANDARD.  That is precisely what we are doing through our UNIQUE and POWERFUL business model.

However, for us, it is NOT all about the mighty dollar. We were created for the BETTERMENT OF GOVERNMENT, for the BETTERMENT OF CONTRACTORS, and for the BETTERMENT OF AMERICA.

GIVING BACK is the cornerstone of our model. Giving back to our government with budget savings, giving back to our community through pro bono rehabilitation projects, building shelters for the homeless … while ALWAYS SUPPORTING LOCAL CONTRACTORS.

To find out more please contact our main office at (805) 676-1200 and ask for Danny or Steve.
